Family Central Service Coordinator
If you are a child care provider in Broward County and know of a family in your program with unmet needs (social service needs other than child care), you can refer the family to the Service Coordinator at Family Central.
The Service Coordinator is available to assist child care providers’ support of families by connecting referred families to services and resources that support children’s school readiness and strengthen families.
You can reach the Service Coordinator at 954-724-3822, Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. or via email at: hstracquadaine@familycentral.org

Local Resources
There are no charges/fees associated with a provider listing in the Child Care Resource & Referral Database or for referrals to your program. If you are asked to provide a payment for a referral or listing in the Child Care Resource & Referral database, please call the Agency for Workforce Innovation’s Office of Early Learning at 1-866-357-3239. The information reported about a provider’s program is objective program information that is based on standards that are attainable for providers
Broward County's Early Care and Education System
The Early Care and Education System in Broward County is comprised of a network of services administered by the Early Learning Coalition of Broward County, Inc. through its community partners. This network of services that prepares children for success in school includes: Child Care Resource and Referral, family education and supports, Voluntary Pre-kindergarten, financial assistance for early learning programs, child developmental screens, technical assistance, training and professional development for providers, and rating quality of programs.

Florida Steps to Success Early Learning Career Pathways
Florida Steps to Success is a statewide, professional development and career advancement system for early childhood and school age professionals. The goal of Florida Steps to Success is to develop career pathways and improve the knowledge, skills and attitudes of early learning and school age practitioners through education and training that will result in improved child outcomes and lead to later success in school and life.

Florida Core Competencies For Early Care and Education
The Florida Core Competencies for Early Care and Education are a set of knowledge and skill standards that define what early care and education practitioners, directors, trainers and coach/mentors should know and be able to do in order to deliver high quality early learning services to children and families. The Core Competencies are the foundation of Outcomes Driven Training. They drive the training design and assessment.
