Palm Beach County Developmental Screening

Child care providers are required to coordinate developmental screening using the Coalition approved screening/assessment tools for 100% of children ages birth to 5 years in school readiness child care for whom a parent and/or guardian has consented in writing to the developmental screening/assessment. Home Safe is responsible for administering the developmental screening process for School Readiness children.
Developmental Screening is part of the larger Healthy Beginnings System in Palm Beach County. The mission of the Healthy Beginnings Division of the Children’s Services Council is to increase positive birth and developmental outcomes for infants and young children in Palm Beach County.
