The Resource Depot
A reuse center which collects business discards, samples, and scraps that would ordinarily end up in the landfill. These materials, such as foam, plastic, wood, and fabric, are donated free back to educators, parents, children, seniors and other nonprofit agencies.

U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission 

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is charged with protecting the public from unreasonable risks of serious injury or death from more than 15,000 types of consumer products under the agency's jurisdiction. The CPSC works to ensure the safety of consumer products  such as toys, cribs and other items.  They offer information on recalled products.  You can also sign up to automatically received recall notices. 

Accreditation
The State of Florida recognizes approved accreditation agencies through the Gold Seal Program.

Family Central will provide support for the following accreditations:

  • National Association for the Education of Young Children 
  • National Association for Family Child Care
