Palm Beach Provider Services - Quality Counts

 Quality Counts is a comprehensive, voluntary early care and education improvement and support system.

Child care centers and family child care providers who hold a service agreement with Family Central, Inc. and have been licensed for at least one year are eligible to participate.

Quality Counts will enhance the quality of child care so that children birth to five years of age will be healthy and ready to learn when they enter school.

What will the Quality Counts program do for me as a provider?

This exciting program will provide you with quality improvement supports such as:

  • Intensive technical assistance by highly trained Early Learning Coaches  
  • Mini-grants    
  • Educational incentive awards  
  • Career advisors
  • Training
  • Scholarships
  • Peer-networking opportunities
  • Wages supplement

Based on improved quality, providers will be eligible for quality enhancement payments.

The Palm Beach Notes for Clarification (PBNC)

Consist of questions from School District Coaches that are not easily answered from information in the All About Books and/or Caring for Our Children. These questions are submitted to the Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute at the University of North Carolina.
