Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) Program
This is an exciting opportunity for parents/guardians of four year old eligible children.

(Kindergarten children in public schools are screened. The screening results of a child who was in VPK are used to compile a readiness rate for the VPK preschool class in which the child attended.)
Ongoing Registration:
For School Year 2011-2012 - Children born between 09/02/06 - 09/01/07
Registration for the Summer 2012 session will begin 02/01/2012
Four year old children are eligible if birth date is between 09/02/06 - 09/01/07
Registration for the 2012-2013 school year will begin on 02/01/2012
Four year old children are eligible if birth date is between 09/02/2007-09/01/2008.
All parents/guardians of eligible children must have a face-to-face visit at our Family Central office or at a Community Outreach Event. The Child must be registered in the county which the child will be attending a VPK school.
