Broward County Child Care Services - Employers
Employers today are realizing the benefits of providing child care assistance for their employees.
There are numerous options available through Family Central such as:
Consultation
Family Central’s consulting staff can assist you in planning your employee child care benefit package. We will conduct an employee survey, analyze the needs of your workforce, and plan a program tailored to meet those needs and implement that plan.
Corporate Child Care Resource and Referral Service
Through the Child Care Resource and Referral service, employees gain access to their own personal child care expert. The Family Central specialist will help them through the maze of child care information to find the caregivers most likely to meet their needs. An important component of the service is the recruitment and training of new child care providers.
This increases the supply and improves the quality of the child care resources available to your employees.
Workplace Seminars
The professional staff at Family Central will conduct seminars in your workplace, at a time convenient for you and your employees. A variety of seminar topics can be selected relating to child care, child development and parenting issues.
Direct Child Care
Family Central can work with you to plan and implement a child care program for your employees. An on-site child care center, a nearby consortium center supported by several businesses, or a network of family child care homes contracting directly with your business are all excellent ways to meet the growing demand. Our expert staff is available to work with you through all phases of the project.
Many employers find that helping employees pay for child care can be the most valuable benefit of all. Low-income employees can be helped through participation in Florida’s Child Care Executive Partnership, where the State matches employer contributions dollar for dollar. Employees who don’t meet low-income guidelines can still be helped with a
voucher or reimbursement program or with an IRS Section 129 Dependent Care Assistance Plan. Or you may want to reserve slots in a nearby center or two near your location offering a discount to your employees.
