How To Register My Child for (VPK)


All parents/guardians of eligible children must have a face-to-face visit with a Family Central VPK Parent Counselor.

Parents/Guardians may enroll their children in the VPK program by following the steps listed below:


Step 1

Download the forms provided below or obtain them from our Family Central office location or at one of our Community Outreach Events.

Step 2

Obtain the Parent’s/Guardian’s Information Form from one of our Family Central VPK Parent Counselors.

Step 3

Bring the VPK Child Application Form to our Family Central office or to a Community Outreach Event along with:

*  Proof of Florida Residency (valid driver’s license, utility bill)
*  Proof of Child’s Birth Date (birth certificate, passport)  * Bring original and a copy.

Step 4

When the application process is complete, the parent/guardian will
receive:

*  A list of VPK Providers in Palm Beach County 
*  A Certificate of Eligibility to present to the VPK Provider of choice

Once the parent/guardian has selected a VPK program and gives the VPK provider the Certificate of Eligibility, the child is officially enrolled into the VPK program.
