FCCPC Renewal Training 


The FCCPC Staff Credential Renewal Certificate training is designed to provide the 45 clock hours (4.5 CEUs) of professional development required by the Florida Department of Children and Families Credentialing Unit to renew a current Florida Birth through Five Staff Credential.

Enrollment Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write well enough in the language the course is presented in to understand and complete the course material.


  • Pay a non-refundable registration fee of $50 to reserve your space in the class.
  • Text book: $30 (non-refundable)
  • Tuition: $375 (3 monthly payments of $125)


Birth Through Five Credential Renewal Program and Application

Child care personnel must complete the Florida Child Care Staff Credential Verification Application in order to verify they have met the qualifications. Verification will be documented on the Child Care Training Transcript, which is the only documentation used by licensing to determine compliance with the staff credential requirement.

IMPORTANT NOTES: -Participants missing more than 15 minutes of total training time will NOT receive a certificate of completion or receive and CEUs -Partial CEUs or in service hours cannot be offered The training will begin and end promptly -PLEASE BE PREPARED TO ARRIVE ON TIME AND STAY UNTIL THE END OF THE TRAINING. *Late participants may remain for the training but will receive no credit *Late/absent participants cannot make up the class in another session

Materials provided free of charge by the Agency for Workforce Innovation, Department of Children and Families, Department of Health, Department of Education, or other such related governmental agencies or non-profit organizations, should be utilized. The Training Academy Manager or department Program Administrator is responsible for approving all training content and materials. Should the training reference a specific product, material, instrument, or service, the Training Academy Manager or Program Administrator is accountable for ensuring that the instructor either has no proprietary interest or makes a full disclosure. Family Central, Inc. reserves the right to dismiss any instructor who fails to make a full disclosure regarding proprietary interest with regards to any aspect of a training event. In the unlikely event that an instructor does have proprietary interests and is still contracted to conduct a training or workshop, this information will be communicated to prospective participants prior to the start of the program through promotional avenues.
