The mission of Family Central, Inc. is to provide services which improve the quality of life for children and families. We offer training to teachers in our community. One of the department's goals is to help teachers improve the quality of their instruction, which in turn improves the quality of our schools for children and their families.
Another goal of the Training Academy is to design and deliver classroom instruction in the fundamentals of developmentally appropriate early childhood education while incorporating hands-on activities and experiences.
The Training Academy provides top-quality professional development, training, coaching, and support services and products for professionals and for families with young children throughout South Florida. We contract with trainers who are degreed and highly trained with many years of classroom experience. Our trainers are continually learning by attending some of the best workshops in the country.
